Re: It's Deer Season!

I bought a set of Deer whistle at Canadian Tire store after I almost hit a deer (scared the hell out of my better half)... It's hard to say they don't work cause I never had a close call since, but my wife tells me that she noticed that wild life on the roadside and ditches always look up at the roa...

Re: front end whobble

I've had the same problem with my 06 on Dunlop and also on Bridgestone and Metzeller. When I traded it in for a 2012 the dealer advised me to inflate both tires at 41 psi, I doubled the life on my Bridgestones and never experienced cupping again. So from now on I'll stick to this brand and also the ...

Re: Stumbling '15 Wing

Got the same problem with my 2012... Got the same answer from my dealer !
It's really annoying when trying low speed manoeuvres so I compensate by using 2nd gear a lot.

Re: Cruise Control, Do You Use It On The Highway?

I use it all the time on the highway, it's a wrist saver. However I avoid it on two lane roads, you never know what's around the corner ! It has saved me many speeding tickets on long trips. It seems to me that every time I've seen highway patrol cars on the road, is when they're giving out tickets....

Re: goldwing 1800 wobble

Every time I've had front wobble was caused by front tire cupping due to under inflation... My Honda dealer suggested inflating both front and rear tires to 42 psi, so I followed their advise. I've nearly doubled the life of my tires (went from 9,000 m to 15,000m) and never experienced cupping or wo...

Re: What's in your arsenal? (fluids, lubes, etc)

I always carry FW1 high performance cleaning wax on trips. It works on every part of the bike (windshield, plastic, paint etc…)
You can buy it online at Costco, once you've tried this wax, you're addicted...

Re: Travel to Quebec and Atlantic Provinces

Don't miss out on a fantastic trip because of negative comments. Your attitude will probably set the pace… Be open for a different culture and see a part of North America as you have never imagined. Every nation has its share of ****, but you will find most people friendly and warm if you approach t...

Re: what's in your saddle bags???

Along with most items listed earlier (except for ball bearings) I also carry tie wraps. I've had to use them on broke down Harleys before, so now, I always carry them.
