Re: Phillips had screws

On second thought, I wonder if we already have JIS screwdrivers in our current OEM tool kits. ?

Re: Phillips had screws

Now it makes sense after all these years... Back in the 60s I discovered that I could break loose stubborn screws by gripping the 'cheap' tool kit Philips screwdriver shaft with the pliers. Now I know why. Amazing.

To WingAdmin: I would like to report that I receive the newsletters just fine. My email domain is sbcglobal.net which is owned or managed or ?? by Yah**. FYI. Not sure it means anything, but maybe it might help you find a workaround. I just hope Yah** doesn't see this and start blocking me now. :rol...

Well stated AZ. I don't understand why manufacturers insist on using what appears to be proprietary systems.

Hope your health continues to improve.

Use a coolant that is silicate-free. If you're unsure, use official Honda coolant.

Depending on your itinerary and route, you may be passing through near me in the east valley. I'm just 5 miles south of US 60 in Mesa. If you want, PM me with contact info and maybe we could meet for a cuppa.

Re: AZ to Sturgis?

I agree.. go for it. I ride my '76 Wing back and forth between AZ and MI, no problems other than the seat.

There is a lot of info on this site regarding hot weather riding. It is doable and can be enjoyable.

Have fun.

My 94 Aspencade is getting 'close'. Does having 186,000 one owner miles help? 😊 I also have a 76 Wing that I thoroughly enjoy riding. (See my avatar).

Re: The loneliest road in America???

My impression of it was and is positive. It is an area of the country that deserves to be experienced if you are open minded and don't need endless twisties. There is a 'pattern' to the roadway. Several miles of, yes, flat straight road, then a twisty ride up, over and down a low mountain ridge. Thi...

Re: engine died, lost 12 volts to fuel pumo

I had an almost identical problem recently with my 94A. I started it up (after it had sat for a few weeks) and it ran until it apparently ran out of gas at the carb. I won't go into the painful details of my 'trouble shooting', but it turned out to be the BATTERY. Yes, the voltage to the pump was lo...

Congrats on finding your spark problem.

A Pulse Autocycle... you don't hear about them very often. My buddy has one that he is restoring. It still has the original Yamaha motor.
