Mine did losen a little i noticed a vibration in...

Re: Cupping causing out of round tire?

MC Tires are like that you have to check your tire pressures at lease weekly some do it every ride. A lot of it could be from balancing problems i noticed problems on my front stock dunlop like the described. I picked up a screw in my rear tire plugged it did not like the ride. With 4000 miles on my...

Re: Went To The Darkside

I am very happy with my CT i have over 8000 miles on it and it still looks brand new. There is really not much of a difference in the handling of the bike at all. Doing the curves is not a problem at all for me it was longer tire life and i feel better traction. :D

With the move back to Japan what did you expect. Here cost was in moving, not the upgrades we were all expecting. You do get 80% more storage space and a trip planner. Man there going to be some greats deals on the 2010s i should have 4 more months to buy one. :( :( :(

Re: Went To The Darkside

17000 is nice your pressure may have been to high plus you need at lease 3oz of dyna beads on the rear. May have gotten 20,000 who knows still better then MT. Heres some info i found on CTs hope this helps.

Went back to 40psi may even try 44psi. Did not like the way it felt at 34 too much slippage. Much better handles great at higher pressures.

Re: Best tires for a 2009 GL1800?

I am a firm believer in higher tire pressure i am riding at 41psi on both my tires and also run high in my vehicles. I know i couple of riders in our group who have avons there not happy wearing to fast. Need to ask them what pressure there running. Many tires preform better on higher pressure.

Re: Best tires for a 2009 GL1800?

13000 miles plus another 5000 that really great miles on the tires you have. From what i am finding it depends on your terrain and were you live. I live down here in florida we don't have the curve worvies. Its pretty much flat highway with alot of back roads, hot weather hot roads with lots of rain...
