Re: To gps or not

Just having the "lane assist" on the GPS is worth the money if you find yourself on a freeway in a strange city. If your destination is keyed in and the device is updated properly, it will tell you which lane you need to get into BEFORE you have to make a snap decision. The only caveat to that scen...

Re: GL1100 engine removal & missing bolts

One more thought. every thing every one has said is right on the money but...would be a good time to practice the remove the carburetors from the left side, in case for some unknown reason they have to come off later. Just turn the right side intake runners to the top by backing the clamps off. A li...

To get the superstition correct, the bell must be given to you and it has to be a Frisco bell as told to me. Besides that you are riding the wrong brand.

Re: 3 ohm or 7 ohm coils

Thanks for the response! I was about 90% sure which way to go, but I was just trying to nail it down. Short version is that I got a set of 3 ohm Dyna coils and they worked great. On a not so happy note, I got so wrapped up in the coils and the Weber carb conversion that I put off changing cam belts...

There is a spring pin that goes thru the hole where your wire is and past the shaft on into the block. line your hole in the block to the shaft hole and run the wire in or up till it bottoms out. Looking for a broken pin still inside the block hole. If you wire goes on past to the top hole in the bl...

NGK spark plug number DPR8E-9 is also as 4929 or a #847. Those are all NGK numbers for that one plug. The T070 gates is also #5043 and also, "C" company is Charlie Company. Why is one higher? Not being familiar with these engines is the broken piece to fit on the bracket as in the picture? Is that a add on bracket? Just curious. You keep talking about the case which I understand and it does look like a corner of the case piece, but then I want to keep staring at this bracket. Thank you.
