Re: Winter Covers

I GoldWingmen

Here is the shelter I made for another bike that I had before my GoldWing 1800,
Unfortunately this shelter was too small for my Gold, I had to sell it.
These super shelters like this, these quickly open and close.
One or the other model you will be satisfied.

I would secure the shock absorber U-piece which is pressed on the support of the creek, it would be better not to receive a part in face.
Because the U-shaped piece is aluminum, but it works well for him.

Next time

Re: GL1800 windshield

I Nitefuzz

If you look at the site of CycleMax without advertising, you look at a winshield for the 1500cc said from 1981 to 2000, and for the 1800cc have from 2001 to 2017.
I do not believe that you can interchange the two winshields.

Re: Location of oil pump in GL1800?

I FlyingFinn
The oil pump is in the base of the engine.

Go see at this address, I know the manual is for 2001 and 2002, but the pump is in the same place for all the engines that I know of.

For several years I installed myself on my GoldWing 2003, but I do not recall the diameter of the carry handle, if you're handy, easy to do the installation.

You have to remove the tip weigh handles and measure the diameter.
