according to the Honda Service Centre in N.J. it will take 5 hours to do at $100 an hour!
They have fitted a camshaft alternator kit before and they seem to think that fitting the "poor man conversion" will take the same amount of time.

trying to sync carbs after cleaning!! connected all carbs to the sync gauges , here is where the the problem starts. low vacuum , idle speed takes long to come down before the carbs settle down. can't balance carbs due to low vacuum as when I stop the fluttering the gauges go to zero?? can any one a...

checked against other3 mixture is not lean , all have nice bisctuit colour.???

valve clearence checked

you can put a bit of grease between the cutting threads on the tap , this will catch the alloy pieces while tapping, remove the tap regulary clean and re-grease GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

at 80 kph going down hill on my1980 gl1100 the neutral flashed for a few seconds this happened 3 times !!!!! any advice??? i was in 5th gear.

hi guys, strange thing happened to-day while ridding in 5th gear at 89 kph down hill the neutral light started to flash for a few seconds , this happened about 3 times!!!!!!!! has any one had this happen before.

does anyone know if the rear left trunk box (front side) lid from a gl1500 will fit a 2002 gl 1800 the lid keeps fallin off and we found that the plastic pre cast pins are broken , on the e bay only 1500 ones are available.prepard to buy new if some one knows where?? also looking for yellow wind def...
