There is no comparisons to the 1800 to My sei 1200 the 1200 rides like a Cadillac. Would LOVE to have the reliability of My 1800 in My 1200. Just saying

I not sure where you are at on ur 1200 have u consider adding a 3rd in the rear wheel i think the bearing on the left side is a little under size so to beef the wheel up we added a 3rd bearing in the center. if u need more inform let me know

I have a 86 sei and I think it is the way there setup I have put about 60,000 miles on it and the Guy I bought it from I ask about gas fumes He ever could solve the problem either it may be how they were made. I have a manuel at Home and will check Your air pump problem.

ur right it is the wire for the speed senor on the left side around the rubber booth and the voltage regulator u should find the plug

Some of the seals u can get at a local bearing house others may need to come of a part house on line I replace my last because the coupling was bad, I have a 86 gl1200 sei

I put a poorboy kit on my 86 sei and have ever look back. the only thing i would sugguest is putting a bigger pulley on the crank to speed up the alter. at a low rpm. i have a 5 1/2 pulley the same as i have on my. i bought them off ebay and i have one left if ur interested

i think the rotor is warp u need to get a dial indicator and ck the run out on the face of the rotor

the clutch will on if in gear and motor running when u relase it does the bike roll if this is true and it stop when you pull the handle them let me know what is going on

U can still syc the throttle body go to a web site that will explain how to do it u will need some vacuum gauges

Does the bike have 2 rotors on the front if so 1 is couple with the rear brake i think it is the right side u may open that bleed and let it gavity bleed make sure u keep a level in ur master cyl
