Proximity Alarms

Looking for suggestions on a proven proximity alarm for the 1500. I have to allow people to walk by it, but obviously not touch it. It would be nice if I got one that shocked people with a little bit of an electric current, but thad probly be illegal. I don't need one with a remote start. Any sugges...

Re: Spark Plugs

Apparently, At this time NGK does not have an Iridium version of the BUR7EQ/BUR9EQP (which are plugs for my car). However, a 92 Honda Goldwing can use NGK 7803 DPR7EIX-9 IX Iridium Plug.

Re: Spark Plugs

I just found out that Iridiums are just a type of NGK plug. Silly me

Now the question is can I get NGK Iridiums in an OEM for my car (87 RX-7) which the recommended plug is NGK BUR7EQP (leading) & NGK BUR9EQP (trailing). I guess I might have to check with NGK directly for that info.

Spark Plugs

Would you go double NGK double platinum spark plugs or just stick to OEM? Or aftermarket?

What about wires? IF I go with NGK plugs, shud the wires be NGK?

Thanx

Re: 1500 screws

So I have to go out & getta JIS screwdriver or at least a JIS bit? Why wud Honda make em like that?
Seems kinda nonsensical to me? Why not just use a Philips? Stupid anyway (IMHO anyway).

That's probly why one was stripped. Someone tried to loosen it with a Philips.

Lifting front wheel

Both tires of the bike were on separate 3/4" thick pieces of plywood & now only the rear one is. The battery is out. All I want too do is put the front tire on the plywood. How do I raise it up even 1" without using the center-stand or putting the battery back in?

size of 1500 screw

I went to check the clutch fluid in the master cylinder, but cudn't get it open because one of the screw heads where stripped so the Phillips screwdriver tip couldn't get a good bite on it. So, 1st of all, how do u suggest I loosen it & 2ndly, what exact size is it to replace it?

Thank ya

So how EXACTLY (step by step) do I get rid of that air bubble? Take the clutch fluid reservoir cap off & start pumping until it returns to normal? Or how?

Re: clutch problems.

When the 1500 sits for a few days, it starts right up again no problem, but then when I squeeze the clutch lever & put it in 1st, it goes in good, but doesn't release the clutch slowly & I have to stall it to get it back into neutral. It does this for a few times & then with each time, the clutch se...

About how many hrs for a shop to do all that? (I'm hoping it's just low as changed & flushed both the clutch & the brake April 3 / 15. And it works fine after a few times. And it's not leaking.
