Hi Do any one know if the drive shaft from a gl1200 will fit a gl1500. looking at then they do look the same and may be Honda used the same part for the 1500 it a 1989 model. cant get any for the 1500 in the uk. Looked at the Vaulkrie instructions you posted. Front of the engine should pretty much be the same. Don't see why you would remove the cam belt pulleys. The trigger wheel is in the center. Yes all volts seem to be ok. cant test the pulse generator voltage as I haven't got a peak voltage meter

The black is the main 12v feed from the ignition switch, so if you wanted to replace that, you would have to connect it to all of the relevant ignition controlled circuits. Maz Thanks for that Maz tested and cleaned all the terminals up checked for and sorting now charging at 14.7 volts at 3000rpm ...

Trace the front brake hoses from the callipers they will go into a pipe splitter fitted to the steering yoke then up to the front brake lever if not linked. or put the bike on the centre stand press the rear peddle then get some one to try and turn the front wheel

ok Maz im still baffled. I took the carbs out again. pulled the float and jet. shot carb clean through and watched it come out the fuel line. I moved the float manually and hung it up side down to make sure it wasn't stuck. put it all back together and still no fuel getting there pull the drain plu...

Are you referring to the trike in your avatar? The VIN (Not really a VIN number on your 1979 trike but a frame serial number) is stamped on the right side of the steering head opposite the plate.
