Re: Turn signals won't cancel after LED upgrade

Adding resistors Work, but consume nearly the same power as filament bulbs. It is possible to get new LED type flasher relays fitting perfect in the OEM relay sockets.

Re: head light

WingAdmin you are right. If you can meassure 12V at the bulb socket, the only fault can be the bulb. Remember to meassure ground and positive in the socket contacts, to ensure proper ground in the connector.

Re: Front spring question GL1200A or GL1200A ?

Hi WingAdmin Thank you for your reply. I will replace the sleeve bushings and fit OEM seals and dust seals. I am thinking of using SAE 15 fork oil as lubricant and damper oil. I already mounted new T416 progressive air shocks at the rear, and what wow... what a difference in stable riding comfort......

Re: Headlamp - anyone tried H4 Cree vs H4 OEM ?

I think your right - LED will replace the OEM bulb in the near future. I just bought a single H4 Cree LED lamp unit on Ebay... will be shipped from Germany next week.

I will get back with the test results...

Since my problem regarding coolant entering to the exaust port - a little update. I have got my 2 cylinder heads back from milling and pressure test - that should be okay. Re: Headlamp bulb 90 watt ?

This bulb is an option and provides ultra bright white light... i use it in my GL1200 Aspencade... i prefer bulbs with ultra bright white light in stead of "blue" types. Blue types may look cooler, like xenon, but won't provide the same useable light output.

Re: Headlamp bulb 90 watt ?

Only use original H4 Watt rating !!!
The picture shows the damage a 80/90W H4 bulb creates over time to the plastic silver painted reflector inside the lamp housing.
In Europe common use is H4 55/60W

Re: Hazy "old" Slipstreamer Windshield

I polished mine too - with perfect result. In Scandinavia/Europe "Xerapol" works wonders. Deeper scratches first use wet sandingpaper 500/800/1000/1200 depending on the scratch deepth, and polish "hard" with xerapol.
