Re: Front speakers- a little electrical question

Tx. I will surely hook up some good ones on the rear connections and see if I get any sound.

I think thats the only way to find out if they are still in working condition.

Re: Front speakers- a little electrical question

Hi Gentlemen Excuse me intruding, but I have a problem with my rear speakers. It is 1995 Asp. I have followed a couple of postings on this as well as other forums and still cannot figure out how to resolve. The PO connected the rear speakers directly to the front speakers using the original wiring h...

Problem is, I am not sure wether the nut holding then pinion joint has a clip or locknut. Can I just keep the moving parts tight and remove the nu...

Re: GL1500 Timing Belts on sale!

Uoba
Changing those belts is a piece of cake if you stick to the photo description on this site. I did mine a week or three ago and unfortunetly switched the number 2 and nr 4 plugwires on replacing. It got me all mixed up and I thought I had the timing wrong. Real easy. I have 1995 Aspc.

Re: pulse generators

Thanks for the responce. On rechecking and checking after the new belts were on the timing is spot on. The bike ran smoothly before the change. This afternoon I loosened the top generator and then just titened the bolts again. After this pocedure the engine was very irregular and missed even more. I...

Re: How to remove and replace your timing belts

Please do not check the spelling in my previous post. I have rechecked an reset the slack on the belts. There is still the unsmoothness somewhere and I do still get the misfire, though it sound better.

Re: How to remove and replace your timing belts

Thanks for this great page. I live in Namibia where you will find only two Wings. I have done everything according to the photos and writeup. Afterwards I am experiencing a slight misfire and the bike does nor idle smooth. I checked and re-check the timing marks and it seems all is weel and exact on...
