1999 Valkyrie getting er msg with CB

I'm helping a guy in our GWRRA chapter that is having problems with his CB. On the display I'm getting small er msg. Pretty sure it the CB er, radio works ok. When I push Audio Mode button I get lots of different messages but don't have a cure of what they are. The Valkyrie is way different that the...

Re: Power loss in heavy rain

I had the same problem 2 years ago, but I could keep it running by giving it full choke for about 15 seconds then I could go 60 mph for about a mile or so then the bike would just start slowing down again, choke again and away i went. once the rain stopped the bike ran fine. I did this for about 150...

I'm trying to get a replacement front fender cover for my 2013 Goldwing-audio/comfort . The problem is there are 2 different part numbers for this part and does anyone know the difference. The part numbers are: 6110-MCA-S70ZA. Or 6110-MCA-S80ZA. Both are metallic silver. Any help would be appreciate...

USB connector in trunk 2013 1800

Just got a 2013 Wing with Roadsmith trike kit and can't get the USB to play any music. I plug the usb in with music on sd card and hit the Aux button, but it just says No Song and keeps flashing that. I can play the music on my desk top ok, so sd card is good. I didn't get a user manual with bike so...

2013 CB needed

I'm getting a 2013 Goldwing Roadsmith trike that doesn't have a CB, and wanted to find out if earlier Goldwing cb radios will fit into a 2013. Any help would be appreciated, and if anyone has one to sell please let me know.
Thanks,

Re: Heated grips and seats on 2012 Trike

The problem was that neither the seat or the grips were heating. If a grip opens up then nothing works, and I think the seat won't heat unless the temp is below 60-65. So after checking as much as I could I ordered a new control unit for the heated seat/grips. Haven't got it yet but hopefully that w...

Re: Heated grips and seats on 2012 Trike

Well I finally found the heated grip connector.. It was next to the air filter box, you can see it from the front but can't reach it very well, I had to remove the air filter box( a real pain to reconnect the four hoses from bottom).. Next time it will be just cut the grip wires to check resistance ...

Re: Heated grips and seats on 2012 Trike

Heated grips and seats on 2012 Trike

I'm trying to troubleshoot the lost of heated grips and seats on a CSC 2012 gold wing, and have read the great posts here but I can't find the heated control unit on this Trike. It was posted it was behind the left saddlebag but with a Trike , I can't see it behind the battery on left side. I haven'...

Re: right side cover

Ai have a 1995 Aspencade and needed a right hand battery cover. I found one from a another 1500 owner and the cover fit but it was slightly different than my other cover. The one I brought was a 2 tone paint job which I had to sand down and repaint, I don't think you would notice it unless you compa...

Re: Power loss in heavy rain

That doesn't explain why it would keep running after I did full choke then release the choke and it ran fine for 2-3 miles. My crankcase breather tube did have lots of water in it. Thatight be part of problem.

Power loss in heavy rain

Just got back from 40 to Phoenix, driving 1995 1500 Aspencade, it ran fine all the time except for heavy rain, then it lost power. I finally figured out I could give it about full choke for 15 seconds turn off the choke and the bike would run ok for 2-3 miles then start slowing down again. It it was...

1995 Aspencade weird problem

My bikes got 56700 miles on it, it's new to me and finally got it running and cleaned up. Nothing serious wrong with it, but I changed air filter all fluids , and after a ride of 1 hour or so came home and was using reverse to back into my garage when it died. I thought it just stalled out but when ...

Re: gl1500 sub air filter

I just did mine and did the same as 2manywings, brought a lawn mower air filter and cut a small piece-then put heavy oil on it squeezed out the excess. Not sure what it does for the engine or carbs but it was easy to change. The other filter on opposite side (for the cruise control?) I looked at it ...

1995 Aspencade Dash control

I got a 1995 Aspencade and not sure what the knob that is below and to the left of the key does? I know all about the radio controls-any help out there? Once I get this baby back together maybe I'll figure it out.
