Front wheel no longer spins as freely.

Had Front Tire Changed and now feels like front wheel no longer spins as freely. I noticed this when pushing the trike backwards out of my garage. I used to just squeeze the clutch lever and simply guide it out. Now, I need to really push it.

Any thoughts as to why this may be?

Re: I want a set of these........

If I had these, there would be a few less cell phone junky drivers, teenage tailgaters and other various and sundry dimwits that drive too fast and see too slow -- but, that's just me! :D

Re: Gold Wing Trike

Michelon Pilot Activ, mounted in reverse is the way that I go....I also mounted balancer discs and the combo really does improve the ride and tire wear.

Re: Goldwing seat options

You can always send your OEM seat to www.bikesolutionsllc.com down in Austin, TX and they can do a mod on that and you can keep your heat...That's what I did and I'm very pleased on the quality and quick turnaround. Check it out, it's an option that may do the trick for you.

I agree, they've lost their way....I dropped my membership this year. Miss the magazine, but, not enough about trikes in there, anyhow.

Re: 2013 Honda Goldwing F6B - BREAKING NEWS!

Love the look of it...can't wait to see what they do with the trike designs for it. With the top box out of the picture, there's a good chance one of the main trike firms will design a batman trike.

Re: Hannigan trike

I agree....I'm a Roadsmith (Trike shop) guy and have been treated very well by Doug and Company.

IMHO, I would hope that the Trike Shop would've sent me some shocks and dealt wih the b/O issue in the background. SO, i could be on the road with my trike.

Thank the Lord above that you're all safe...

As a triker, I often wonder what happens with a blow-out.

Anyone with tales to tell of what happens when 3 becomes 2?

Re: Please tell who or what made you buy a Goldwing

I like to ride and listen to music while I'm doing it...Nothing more reliable (so I get to ride without breakdowns). Nothing quieter (so I can hear my music when I ride). The only thing I odn't like on my Goldwings (had an 89 GL1500, now have a 2010 GL1800) is the riding position (a bit cramped), bu...

Re: What is wrong with these people?

Gotta be visible....Hi Vis stuff and Helmets ALL OF THE TIME! In the US,we've got this whole EZ Rider history, so many grew up thinking it wasn't cool unless you wore a leather vest and a tank top. This isn't the case in other places. Just got back from a trip in to the UK...There Hi Vis is the new ...

Moth balls...If you can stand the smell, they'll keep 'em away. Just put them around your bike. I use a plastic container of 'em with holes punched through. Seem to do the trick.

I'm a huge Roadsmith fan....Check them out.
You definitely want to be sure that that it has been upgraded to the performance rear springs and stabilizer bar (evens out the roll on the twisties)...If not, it's a couple hundred bucks after you buy it.

I installed this and love it. The install is through the panel on the rear top box. Roadsmith Trike Performance Sway Bars

Anyone with any experience with Roadsmith Performance Sway bars? It is an option on the trike kit. Supposed to be more heavy duty than standard and takes outside dip out of the twisties. Wonder if it does the trick.

Trikers -- EZ Steer Question

Been triking for several years, on my 2nd trike. Just installed EZ steer for the first time and find it takes some getting used to. Feel like trike really dips to the outside even, now, on seeming straight-aways. Find myself leaning toward the center line to feel balanced. When on level ground (i.e....

Re: using Slime in tires

Had to use some a few months back...Worked very well. Probably put anoher 1000 miles on it before I got around to changing the tire. Bought a new one, don't want to trust a plug. Anyway, it is messy, but no problems with heat or corrosion or anything like that. If you follow the directions, and run ...

Trike -- EZ Steer from Bazooka

Anybody use Bazooka's ez steer on their trike? He gets rave reviews on one of the trike boards, but, wondered if others on this board have used him. I'm thinking about buying his stuff. It's about $300 less than what Trikeshop wants for it. Anyone with any thoughts on the subject?

Re: Techie Question -- Tire/Wheel Combos

cbx4evr...Great info, thank you. The idea about the tire size change was related to being consistent with recommended tire size for the wheels that I'm looking to purchase. The decision to move to a different wheel is simply aesthetics. But, I'm not sure that a minor increase in offset (the only dif...

Techie Question -- Tire/Wheel Combos

Got a technical tire/wheel question for you: My Roadsmith rig is a 2010 GL1800 under the covers. The current wheels are your stock design --16x7, 5X4.5 with 35 mm offset. Running the standard Kumho Solus tires at 205/65/R16. Standard Dunlop Front Tire/Wheel. Here are my Two Questions: 1) Will the tr...
