Re: 75 GL1000 Intake Manifold Conversion..

I buy mine from National carburetors in the U.S. but they have distributors worldwide. I always buy the pict34-3 at $116 and just bolt them on an fire 'em up. One day I put the same one from my 80 GW on to a 1200 and a 1500 to demonstrate what it would do!

Re: Screw in the tire

i was on my streetfighter forum as i have them nakeds and their topic about tires ran into the high cost of $100/hr shop time charge. then "Oh!My God" it was $75 to change both tires on a frame, motor and wheels bike. i just rolled as i charge anything with saddlebags $175 just to change the tires. i...

Re: 2016 wing

one thing well noted is that for all the 6' plus guys you can't ride a goldwing comfortably. maybe this is why they buy m/c's with forward controls. i am 6' ride a gl1500 close to perfect but always throwing my feet on the hi-way bar footrests. any constant feet on drivers pegs leads to craps or bac...

Re: 75 GL1000 Intake Manifold Conversion..

did you buy the manifold and carb new and/or with instructions. the reason i ask is that some of those kits came with directions as per altering the plug gap. or do you remember this about the plug gap?

i do a lot of scooter upgrades from 50cc to 66-80cc and and only rode test them for other issues. it still tickles me whenever i say"come on ,come on lets' get moving here". the stop sign at the end of the block comes up quicker on the gw.
