In Europe, where GL's were/are not specifically rare, although sold all years in far less quantities as in the USA, a couple of years ago GL1000's were sold at a max. of $ 6.000,-........ Nowadays many early, original GL1000's, which are well searched are being offered and sold at prices from $ 5.00...

During the renovation of my '75 GL1000 K1 I removed the red/black Fiamm horn (with that typically Italian "King of the Rome-streets" loud and full car horn signal), that was mounted on the original horn's mounting plate on the frame and mounted the typical (but relative "silent") chromish Honda Gold...

I personally do not like typical leather motorbike overalls so much.......... On a Japanese GL1000 there is only 1 brand with the right and best tire..............Bridgestone BT45.........they understand for years already what a heavy Japanese bike needs......
