Thanks Mikeb for the direction on the switches, I was not aware of the throttle return switch. The am/cm radio only has an occasional piping sound when first turn on. The displays on the dash works just fine. Yes I have e a service manual, will have e to look closer for the trouble shooting section.

I would not think that used beads should react any differently than new, I have not had any such issues with the stainless steel beads I use. I don't know how the glass beads are, but they shouldn't clump together unless there is to much moisture in the tire.

I have found out that if I run thru the gears quickly I will get a vibration until I hit enough bumps in the road to make the beads move into proper balance. Slow progression thru the gears gives the beads more time to spread out. Then you can go like a bat out of hell.

I would agree that any police cars in Europe or in your case the UK that has a light on the top of the car.

The trains used to have a car at the end of every train that was the sleeping quarters for the train crew. Trains do not use them anymore. When someone gets the picture, you might remember seeing one.
