Re: Advice from our English members

Hi guys,

Thanks for the feedback, it looks like it's not going to happen and we are going to have to sell the Wing which is a real shame because we really enjoyed the trips.

Will let you know what happens.

Re: European trip

Humble apologies to those that were following our trip. I never finished the updates.

Anyway we are back home and it's been crazy busy for the last 6 months and I have not been on the site hardly.

Re: Rear shock gaiter

Fabulous

I have one small problem. Bike is in the U.K. And I am in Oman. So if anyone has the dimensions I could look for a universal type and fit it when we get back before our next adventure.

Thanks

Rear shock gaiter

Hi all,

Long time no speak.

Could anyone tell me where I could get a rear shock gaiter for the 2000 1500.
The bike was MOT-ed and it has split.
Looking on my parts catalogue it does not come as a loose unit. only a complete damper assembly.

Any help appreciated

The rule is that you should use the lane on the left unless you need to overtake another vehicle, then you may use the middle or right hand lane. People refer to the right hand lane as the "fast lane" but the speed limit is the same as for other lanes and it is there for overtaking only, once you h...

A road hog insists on going either below or at the speed limit rather than pulling over and letting a line of cars pass them Below the speed limit perhaps, but at the speed limit? Re: towing bike car question

Sounds like you have an issue with the transmission, what vehicle? Mileage? Service history?

Based on what you have said it sounds like the transmission is overheating. The trans fluid normal boils out of the dipstick tube. Be careful with this cause it could cause a fire.

Re: Selector shaft seal

Rob, if I remember correctly, it has an indent on the bottom side that you can't see in the picture. You will probably be better served to order one from a parts house like Cyclemax here , or have someone ship to you rather than trying to find a different replacement. Either that or the Honda part ...
