Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

Interesting. I didn't have any trouble ordering, but that was at a price more like $32.99, and extra for tracking and insurance.

Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

My friend did some research, and the BT will pair with the Sena, but not other Bluetooth units like my Torc. I ordered a second one to install on my HJC helmet. For clarification, I tried to pair it with several different devices one at a time, like the phones and my Torc.

Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

Okay. So, I installed the thing, and it pairs with my phone, with my wife's phone, plays music from either phone, but will not pair with my Torc bluetooth. After reading the Chinese to Ingrish translation in the manual, it seems that this set will only pair with other units like itself. Has anyone h...

Came today. No tracking info. I think I paid extra for insurance but not tracking. I will report on the performance after I get it installed in the Spousal Unit's helmet.

Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

I just ordered one. I'll let everyone know how it works. I currently have a Torc helmet with built in Blue Tooth. I will be installing this set on my wife's helmet, and hopefully it will pair easily with the Torc.

Re: 2018 GOLDWING SPECIFICATIONS

I noted a few issues that would be a problem for me: 1) No center stand. I use mine a lot. Especially during service times. 2) Fairing does not look like it protects hands. 3) storage. My wife packs lots of stuff, even for a day trip. 4) Engine complexity for an extra five HP? Maybe for an extra fif...

Re: tires

On various motorcycles I own and have owned, I do believe I have used every brand out there. Except Kenda, never tried a Kenda yet. Anyway, the only brand that has ever failed is Shinko. I have them on my Kawasaki Vulcan, and they are doing fine, however, both the front and rear Shinkos I put on the...

Re: How do you brake your Wing?

It is my humble opinion that you should always use both front and rear brakes during all braking situations. My reason for this is because if a panic situation arises when you need to stop quickly, the most natural thing to do would be what you do most often, and if you need to stop in a hurry, usin...

Re: Can a tire size change enable me to drop about 500 rpm?

I had a 180/70/16 tire on mine for a few thousand miles. There aren't a lot of choices in that size, but it does help a little. Not 500 RPM though. I could get 70 MPH at 3000 RPM. The bad part is that it was a Shinko, and it failed at around 6000 miles. It would be nice if there were more 70 series ...

Re: fuel economy

I just filled up my bike after a 240 mile round trip to Street Vibrations in Virginia City Nevada. I got 43.5 MPG on that trip, 240 miles on the tank, and still did not have the low fuel light on. Speeds probably did not exceed 60 MPH. Now, if I'm communting to work, and I don't want to clog up the ...

Re: How hot does it have to be before you won't ride?

I like the temps between 40 and 80 degrees. However, I often ride to work in the morning (45 miles) when it is a very nice 60 degrees, only to see the Sacramento temps rise above 100 in the afternoon. The temp on the freeway can be 105, and that is just plain uncomfortable. As I go East towards home...

Re: CD Changer to MP3 conversion

Sorry to have to add one more question, but I failed to ask if I can install one of these units when my bike did not come with a CD changer from the factory. The controls appear to be there, and the place in the trunk, but is the wiring there, or would I need to wire it into the stereo controls?

Re: Car tire on the back of a GL 1800 2014 part 2

I have a super simple reason why I no longer use a car tire on my bike. When my wife found out via someone with a big mouth, she told me she wouldn't ride with me anymore until I put a motorcycle tire back on.
