And 90-00 rotors usually are cheaper. And there must been a reason to increase diameter, more mass... better cooling?

Re: Brake Rotor

Yes, that` all.
I have updated my wing and if I remember right, 99-00 rear rotor is 316mm.
88-89 rear is 296mm, same as all front discs are 296mm.
New rear 88-89 and 90-00 thickness is 8mm, all new front 6mm. At least with EBC rotors, not sure of Honda oem.

2vsZaryVhKo HtPUXcQwLjo I think important is to get it straight up, spoons both side of pin or maybe suitable fork? When I changed faces to mine, it was a bit exiting cause they didn’t pop up too easy :D Also might be good to use paper etc over faces so the ”tool” will not leave any marks to face...

Mobil super2000 10w-40. This viscocity don’t have those slipping reducers (wet clutch). Other viscocoties have, so with this brand/model it must be 10w-40. We don’t have Mobil 1 High Mileage available here what Admin mentioned (link in my prevoius post) Now I have Delvac 15w-40 (diesel eng oil) in, ...

Re: Rear wheel on Gl1500

And if you want to update it to 90-00 model rotor, replace the caliper mounting bracket with 90-00 model.
90-00 rotors are easier to find and usually cheaper. It’s bigger size than 88-89 rotor.

Rear
88-89 rotor 296mm
90-00 rotor 316mm

I updated mine...

Re: How to change your radio lights to LEDs

Well, I wanted to reposition my leds as upper button lights were not so well seen in dark.
I did led update 2 years ago, so I bought few brighter blue leds...

This time I soldered them (with the old resistors) to board itself, positioning was easier and better, no extra wires.

I ordered one, will change it myself.
Bulbs I got from csmnl.com among other stuff I ordered. Same price including VAT (EU area).
Orders outside EU (price & shipping cost), we have to pay customs 1-2% + VAT 24%

I have shifter pivot and always take slack off before shifting, it still was clunky 1-2 and to 4th gear.
I saw a comment of Mobil oil here and thought I'll try...
What a change.... now shifting is much much smoother, I can't believe it :D

I disassembled it yesterday, checked and cleaned lcd contacts but no change how clock/kPa readings show up. It is toasted...
But it was really simple disassemble/reassemble after seeing Tanin auto elect. video.

Hopefully their lcd will come available also wingers outside U.S ;)
