Just say no to Metzler 880's, had two of them separate just like that on my Yamaha RSTD. Also had a Kenda Kruz on the rear of my GL1500 when I bought it blow, so it Elite 4's for me from here on out.....

We just had the rear tire go on us July 30th. We were going about 60 on a country 2 lane when I noticed the wobble were able to ride it out till about 10-15 then we got thrown to the right onto the side of the road. The bike then high sided without us and landed perpendicular to the highway, broken ...

At slow speed I hear a rattle similar to the noise Ive heard from bad fan bearings coming from somewhere under the passenger seat. Whole omelet on face It was the kick stand!!! I had it up on the center stand and totally forgot about that "saftey" mechanism BTW, I was using my vacuum pump, I've done this before on other bikes with no issue, thought something might be different about the Wing.
