Need a good mechanic in South Florida

Hi All I had new rear wheel bearings installed at a local dealer for my 86 GW( I took wheel to them). I have tried to put the rear wheel back on myself but I cannot get it right! Most of the dealers here in Miami are terrible! Does anyone know of a good mechanic that can work on the older Gold Wings...

Gl1200 I mix brake pad compisition?

Hi guys I bought a new rotor and EBC FA 69/HH pads from my local Honda dealer for my 1986 GL 1200I. I ordered the standard EBC FA69/3 organic pads for my 2 front rotors that are still in good shape. Can I use these 2 different pad compisitions this way or should I go with the same at all 3 rotors? T...

Re: Clicking noise coming from fuel pump?

Thanks Captnfred

I sort of half way figured that out after I bought a new pump! The filter was really clogged and I replaced it and about 50% of the clicking was gone.

Thanks

Re: Clicking noise coming from fuel pump?

Hi Dave I replaced the fuel filter (very dirty)first and that seemed to to quiet it down about 5o%. I had all ready purchased a fuel pump so I replaced that next and the clicking was gone. I think it was a combination of the fuel starving at the pump and the 25 year old pump. FYI I learned the hard ...

Hi All Thanks for the info. I will definatly replace the tensioners next time I do the belts. I took for test ride pm last Sunday and all was ok. I had no leaks from the water pump cover and t-stat cover. I will have new O rings next time but the RTV silicone did the trick in a pinch. I rode the bik...
