Re: Harvey

Wow, the before and after is kinda spooky looking. The tree in the after picture reminds me of the gnarly old tree in the movie poltergeist.

Re: Lucas oil stabilizer safe in Gl1500 engine oil?

F-M, Not a problem. I just wrote it as it was written on the bottle. It's a good product though. I also run Lucas 10w40 in my 99se Hannigan trike. Have a good day.

Read seven post before yours. You'll see that I've already posted that information. Honestly do you all ever read any of the other post?

Man what a beautiful rig. I love that side car. It looks good on there. Glad you have it, but sorry that you had to lose your grandpa to get it.

Re: Lucas oil stabilizer safe in Gl1500 engine oil?

NOVAwing, I looked at the Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer and it states on the bottle that for four stroke motorcycles with wet clutches to use 10% of the synthetic stabilizer. Hope this helps. But the choice is yours to make.

Hey FreeSwede, + one on what Wilcoy 02 said. It could save you a lot of time and effort. The battery should have a warranty on it.

For me it depends on the roads. Unless I'm on the freeway I'm usually in 3rd or 4th.

Re: The Biker Wave...

Yes I always wave. Some do some don't but it matters not to me if they don't. Most of the Harley riders wave back around these parts. We're all brothers of the wind. So please don't be offended when someone waves at you. Maybe they're having a bad day and a friendly wave just make make them feel bet...

Re: Riddle me this!

Hugger-4641, That's a very good possibility but until then I'm going to enjoy it and ride the wheels off of her. Also I think the previous owner babied her and didn't ride her hard enough. Cause it seems the harder I ride her the better she runs. :D :D :D :D

Re: 98 gl1500 back fires when on throttle

I'm new to the Goldwings, but when my old Harley Panhead would do that it was almost always the battery. Maybe try that first. Good luck and post back and let us all know what you find out.

Riddle me this!

I have a 99 se that I bought in May of last year so relatively new to me. When I got it it had what I call a flat spot in the throttle. When I would wick the throttle it would hesitate and then pick up rpms. If I tried to give it the gas on take-off it would stall out. I would have to just ease out ...
