Re: Passenger Intercom Push-to-Talk Cord

I had one of the j&m passenger ports. Ir should be able to listen to the cb and if it has the push to talk button it should be able to transmit on the the cb also. It also should have a control knob to cut the volume to a level that the passenger to listen to. For the cb audio to work, make sure tha...

I layed my 89 wing over on on jack stands when i had it. I changed the shifter seal, valve cover and seal around the bolt/screw. I had no problems with doing. Sure was easy to work on that way.

Work for dodging pot hole also. I dont think about it, I just do it. I try to teach younger rider starting out about ...

Re: Painting a trailer

I am like themainviking, so far no one told me the I need to match the tailer to the bike. So far the cm2000 cargo is a offwhite color with gold strips. To me they match very good. The bunkhouse and the combicamp campers match well also. Your have to make up your mind which way you have to go. My mo...

I think your going to find out most all 1500 goldwings are that way. I know my 89 and 98 has the same thigs going on. You can bend the rod on the level sensor in the tank and make it read like you want it to. I just use to it and use the trip odometer to figure out a out what i need. Good luck with ...

All i had to to to install the wiring harness was to drop the under trunk panel cover and pulle the power wire to the battery. Then unplug connetor and plug the others in. The hardest part for me was to get the power wire to the battery. PS: Hope you are installing a isolated wiring harness. Mine ca...

Re: what is the difference between the 2 gl1500 radios

Sorry forgot that the Interstate model had a very different radio. It doesn't have a reverse on it and the radio does not have a cassette player. I have seen them but really got into taken one apart. The one that is on the SE model and aspencade looks almost the same but will swap out.

I use fishing line to separate the metal from what it double tape to. Use it on automotive and motorcycles. Never had it to scratch like piano wire. After the plate is up then the fun begins, cleaning the double stick tape off.

Re: Discovery Cargo Trailer

George, I do know that if you got to much air pressure in the tire, it bounce like a rubber super ball. My cyclemate 2000 runs most time about 18 to 22 psi according to what I have loaded in it. The camper is about the same, sometimes I run up to 25 psi in it. Tires wear fine. It does make a differe...
