Re: Wanted Rear center panel for 2000 1500

Did a quick search on Ebay. Found one for you. Item number 292401620750.
$34.95 plus $14.95 shipping. There are several others as well. You can do some more searching if that is out of your price range.

Re: All you need to know about the new 2018 Goldwing

No where in the owners manual or in OEM literature is towing a trailer identified, but many do it regardless. I think you would get the same answer from an OEM rep regarding this as well. I would think that for the initial warranty period, a CT and towing of a trailer will not be high on an owner's...

Re: cubby cover lid

Gary this is a 2012 there is no right hand pocket. He is talking about the cubby you get in place of the airbag. The keyhole that use to open the right hand pocket now opens the cubby in front of the gas filler lid. I've not had the opportunity to work on a Gen 2 so I was taking a guess at the fuel...

I am partial to Cyclemax who also carry them from two suppliers for $37 and $38.
I'm partial to Cyclemax of Ohio as well but I only did a quick search with my chosen search engine and put the first one up I found.

Re: Clutch fluid gone

If the brake fluid is getting by the seal in the slave cylinder, it is going straight into the engine oil. The brake fluid is very detrimental to the engine. You really need to find out where the fluid is going. If I were you, I would remove the clutch slave cylinder and replace it or rebuild it. I'...

Re: Fork Seal Replacement Issue

You need to know that those two 8 mm bolts have different part numbers, 90116-KV3-701 and 90116-383-721, because they are two different lengths. I don't know which is longer than the other but bolt part number 90116-383-721 goes in the right fork and part number 90116-KV3-701 goes in the left fork. ...

Bevel the piece and put in place, install the bolt in place to assure thread alignment and weld it up. Remove the bolt, let cool, run a tap into it, then reinstall. If your welder is any good at all, it will be better than new.
Agreed.

Well, I took up your slack guys. I rode 150miles south to Milwaukie Oregon, for breakfast. And of course we rode a little over 150 on the way home. We just had to take some twisties. Just finished lunch at the Dairy Queen followed by a small blizzard. Tomorrow the weather promises to be even better ...

Have you dismantled things and taken a look at the shift lever mechanism? Maybe there is some binding there.

minimac, if you are happy with your current tire configuration, you may as well stay with it. No real need to re-invent the wheel.

As far as going back to a tire that had disappointed you in the past, that just does not seem wise.

At least head gaskets are still available, unlike the valves. The part number for a 1981 Honda GL110 head gasket is 12251-MG9-306. They sell for less than $50.
