Donating Manuals

Postby BikerNewsman » Thu Mar 01, 2012 10:15 pm

I would like to donate a 1985 Honda GL1200 LTD owners manual... once I have a chance to scan it. Can this be submitted as either text or jpg or does it have to be pdf? :?:

I too would donate some service and owners manuals to the site if allowed.

I don't think it's allowed. Mother Honda shut that down.

It's allowed... unless this site is in need of updating. This - "We're always looking for new manuals. If you have one you'd like to donate, please send it to us!" is found here - http://www.goldwingdocs.com/Manuals.asp. I just don't know what format is acceptable for submission. The ones I've looked at that are on file here are in pdf format. My question really should have read, "If I submit a manual in other than pdf format can you (GWD) convert it?"

If it's in JPG files, we can always convert it, yes.

Great! I'll get that to you at my next opportunity.
