Different Handldbars

Post by SAILOR » Sun Mar 11, 2012 9:38 pm

I'm now the proad owner of two 1984 Goldwings. One Apsencade with 150,000+ miles and and one Interstate with 24,000 miles. Now that I'm comparing the two bikes the Interstate has handlebars that are more turned, meaning shorter distance between the ends of the grips. The Aspencade are more bent out with a wider distance between ends of handle bars. Did bike Interstates and Aspencades come with different handle bars? Would someone measure the distance from the middle of the end of the left bar to the middle of the end of the right bar on there Aspencade, or Interstate and tell me how wide yours are?
