Your old girl sure looks done from here. She looks like she just came out of the factory :)
Must have been a warm day when you took this picture,I see your jacket on the steps.
We all are waiting for that sun to come out again and warm us up so we can ride.
Back to winter conditions here on the shore of Lake Michigan. temp is 37 F

Hey Fuzzy, I am just north of you....hate this rain for sure. Unfortunately when it rains in the NW as hard as it is, AND the roads collect the water the way that it does, it is no fun for sure. So what I do (and I hate it) is have to buy more pieces for my bike, lol. Fingers crossed on the weather, but I am seeing rain for the next week on the forecast.

That is a deal....right now I am busy repainting the dark plastic on my 88 (hard trying to match that dark brown, so I am just lightening it up a bit and painting everything). Once it dries out (it is raining again this a.m.) I will be commuting to PDX almost every day, so get ready for some miles on the bike starting about August :D

lol, should be warm (well, if 70s are warm, which they are for here). I am doing a trip down to Cali to visit parents in the gold country. Wish I was taking the bike but I am packing a box of vino and a gift for mom that is bigger than a bread box, so will not fit.

Mom won't let me forget her, lol. I wrode wings for 10 years, then found a new home for my 89 wing. Missed riding, and 7 years later, bought an 88 (same beige/champagne/whateverthecolor). So back in the saddle again (as the song goes). Thought about trailer, but for now, just enjoy the riding.

By the way, if you ever talk to WA6AWC, say hi to my dad for me, lol. Forgot mom's call sign, she only has 2-meter capability, does not get on the larger radios (scary that I know all this stuff, grew up with it when I was little).

Well Mag,I have checked my log and I have not connected with your dad,but I have had hundreds of contacts with Calif. Ham radio has been part of my life for 51 years now, along with enjoying a good cycle ride. 73

I gotta say, great lookin wing, especially for a classic. You could ship the stuff to your Mom, and ride down on the bike...Let UPS do your hauling and delivery.

Hmmm, that ain't a bad idea. I will have to think on that. Unfortunately I am now under a hunt of electrical controls. The ones I have on this bike have all stuck, found a place in TX that may have a full set (fingers crossed).
