Pipped you both - 78 on 24 Apr! Greeting to you both!

Lost my White Goldwing Trike to Thailand floods last October, "bought-in" replacement parts, now its black! Took a long time to refurbish but it's been out on 710Km run and all is well.

I had my first wing in 90, so that would put me at 26 back then? Wow.

Yeah, when the wife turned 42, I tried to trade her in on two 21s... deal fell through. Tried again when she turned 63 - on three 21s. No takers. When she turns 84 I don't think I'll have the energy for four 21s so gonna give it up. At 64, I have been riding for 49 years now so there are a bunch of miles on this old body. I hope it holds together long enough to wear out this wing, but doubt it ...

Your never too young, or old for a wing. Wish I had gotten mine earlier in life I probably would have more cushion left on the back. Wouldn't need so much seat padding. Wife says it fell off, I'm sticking with my story... ;)

In the back of my mind I seem to remember an old Sofie Tucker quote when her old man of 80 took up with a girl of 20.
Shee being the same age did exactly the same found a toyboy of 20.
When the old man complained she is reputed to have said " Just remember 20 goes into 80 a hell of a lot more than 80 goes into 20".

Food for thought :(

I'm new to this Goldwing site.
At 53 I was old on the Suzuki site.
I'm starting to feel like a pup again.

Just bought a new Goldwing after not having one for 29 years. I turne 63 in July.
Still have a little trouble starting off and stopping but getting better every day. Wanted a trike due to Neuropathy in legs from AO. So far no problems there, hopefully will help strengthen them. I enjoy riding again after all thesr years. Hope to be ready to go to Biketober Fest later this year. Would love to participate in Rolling Thunder next year.

I'll be 64 next month. Hanging out at a bike shop, I saw guys my age bragging that they still ride. Or saying, "Not sure how much longer I'll be riding."

Turned 72 this past groundhog day !! Spent all day yesterday on my knees in the garage changing final drive gear oil, greasing the drive shaft, new brake pads, and a new seal in the air shock. ( getting to them was the hard part ) ! Now I'm ready for the warm riding season. See Y'all on the highway !!!!

Your so old they show your age in Roman numerials. Your so old your dad's name was UGG! Your so old your birthday pics are cave wall paintings! Your so old your ear hair is longer than your head hair! Your so old your grandchildren bounce you on their knee! And finally, Your so old your walker has whitewalls!

One out of seven ain't bad! My ear hair is so long I could braid it into pig tails and my nose hair blends into my mustache quite nicely.

I like the quote from Satchel Paige, the great pitcher in the Negro League. He said, "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you was?"
