New MPG numbers

Postby buffdaddy55 » Sun May 27, 2012 3:57 pm

Just thought for the fun of it I would post this since I do more post reading than writing. Since replacing my pulse generators and timing belts, rear tire and using tcw3 and seafoam in the last two weeks, I have increased my MPG from 40ish to 49.4 on a recent short road trip. Casn't pinpoint the exact cause of increase, but I ain't complaining. Oh, I also only burn non-ethanol gas in my 85 Aspy. :D :o  :?:

Wish I could find non-ethanol gas!! I Austin there was nothing around for miles, Haven't really looked since moving to Seattle (Too cold to ride the bike) but now that the weather has turned nice, I need to find some garages with non-ethanol gas..

Look around for Marinas and small airports willing to let you fill up. Boats and planes use non-ethenol gas.

There is no such thing as too cold to ride the bike. I ride mine to work every day rain or shine. My record to date is 20 degrees. But this is S. Georgia.
