I love hearing this kind of stuff! It makes it the effort running the site worthwhile.

Very funny! :) Actually, that's far closer to the truth now than a couple years ago, when I answered pretty much every message. Now there are so many knowledgeable and helpful people here, I hardly get the chance to answer anything anymore before someone jumps in with a helpful answer! :)

Hence why I have my bike in pieces ;) And the funny thing....I am not scared about the pieces anymore. Unfortunately I am now in the position to do some of the improvements you all suggested....I just see this as a never ending, so may have to get a 2nd bike (oh, there I go again!)

Mag, I see you are also in Washington State!! Looking on mapquest it's quite a drive from Maple Valley to Silverlake, but do let me know if you need any help with the mechanics or electrics.. The summer should arrive soon and I would be happy to make a nice ride out and help a fellow wing owner..

I am about 2 hours south of Seattle, right down the I-5. Easy to get to me. I will definitely let you know. KC (Wife) told me I could either get another bike, or learn to fix this one....I told her I will learn to fix this and if I get fubarred up with it, I will then get another (sounds good to me).

Right now, if you have been reading my other posts, I am just in the middle of taking off all the plastics, etc. It is the only way to follow the switch wires from the handlebars to where they go. Gotta love it.

well if you want a hand with anything just let me know. Also if later on you want to do something and you don't have the necessary tools/skills, let me know you could drive up to Seattle we can work on it at my house (I have a lot of tools and a hydraulic work bench) have a nice meal and then send you on your way!!
