Severe storms went through. Many areas without power, businesses shut down, traffic a mess, etc. etc.
If you have reservations, better check w/your Hotel!!
Plus temps in the hich 90's to over 100 this week. Don't need to sitting traffic on a bike in these kind of temps.
I'm passing on it this year.

Called my hotel they are open, she said there was some damage in the area and some without power. I hope they will have most of it back together before we leave on Wednesday. Hal

You might want to think twice about the wing ding,it is so hot that no parking lot activities are happening. The building is nice and cool but getting there and back is very hot.

More pics from Wing Ding , But one GoldWing rider had a bad day.He was setting in traffic just outside the gate to WingDing when some young guy rear ended him with his car. I Saw the rider get helped to the side of the road until the medics came and took him to the hospital. And there are some pics of my son taking a test ride on a couple of different HD,s. Hal

Man...a great big red 1800 and a big wide trailer behind him, and he STILL got rear-ended. Makes me think about going out and putting flashing brake lights on my bike right NOW.

Yea and one of those big triangle signs like on the back of farm equipment, but I am betting that would not help much. I would be getting a lawyer to subpena his cell phone and if he was texting Id own his butt. Hal

I am willing to bet the person that ran into that fella was texting.... I saw on the news here a box truck plowed into sitting traffic, the idiot was texting while driving.....I feel it should be instant prison time for doing that...It's gotta stop man..

On the way home, we stopped at the auto/truck museum and the curator there was telling us that a couple riding home on their wing was hit, the wife was killed and the husband hurt badly, he did'nt know if the guy was still alive. Quite a sad thing to hear. Prayers to whomever they were and their family.
