Wingding 2012, It Happened

Postby wally » Sat Jul 07, 2012 6:46 pm

The Wingding happened, a couple of us made it to the meet-up and we have the picture to prove it. Pictured are Scott, Hal and myself under the shade of a tree (it was rather warm) Dr Buzzard met up with us later in the coliseum but he's not in any pictures so it's like he wasn't there. :)

I heard there was a pretty wild storm there and it blew over a bunch of bikes.

"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "

A storm that can blow-over a Wing. Wow. What kind of storm was it? Were the bikes on the center stand or kick stand? What can be done to protect a Wing form this happing - other than a garage?

detdrbuzzard, it was lucky Hal got a picture of you at the event or "it did not happen", but you could still stop by if you"d like or maybe I'll run into you in Sandusky, I'm there quite often (my son lives there)

O.M.G. For a minute I thought when you go to a "Wingding " you have to park your bike that way!
So sad too see what mother nature can do.Whats strange is seeing a bike on it's side, but not a trailer.
Hope no one got hurt!

Nice pictures of the guys too..... WA9FWT Phil
