Ok Little Beaver,it is our Wing -Adm that posted that video on Oct 29 2009.... It's been there for some time, but like you say it sure is a cool bike. And who ever bought it sure got one hell of a nice set up.
This information was brought to you by One Silly Willy Rabbit. I can see our wing -Adm reading this and saying, what has this site come too

Yeh, I know it was him, I, for the life of me could never understand why he never posted this video here on his own site [modest I guess]. Wingman has some amazing things on that 82, and I wanted to show it off, he is a modest man and that's apparent, so yes, I would say the guy that bought his bike got him a sweet ride..Cheers to wingman.. :D And Phil the Rabbit..There's one thing about me fella's.....You never know what I'm gonna do next..So I will beat you at chess everytime..   Don't even try it...

Sounds to me like Little Beaver is bored and looking to stir things up around here again. Why dont you take some of that extra time and energy and go out to the shop and install that new Dodge Neon ignition coil conversion I sent you. then you can come back and tell us all about it. It shouldnt take you more than an hour to install it. 8-)
Ride safe, Todd

It really makes me wonder what WingAdmin. is putting on his 1500 now, I saw one just like his here in San Antonio for about 7k and I was thinking strongly on it, but there ain't nothing wrong with my 1100, I just love the look on everyone's faces when they see it, the old school Harley guy's love my Honda...Because at one time in their life they had one, and if they didn't then they knew someone that had one..there are so many of these bikes still on the road, it amazes me....Having a 81 is just special to me, I can only imagine how the guy's with the earlier models feel like a 75 or so...Todd I really am going to change out the coils and I shall report back to you guy's and let you know how it goes....If your interested that is..So then I will have after market coils, exterior auto 55 amp alt.,with a custom made crank pulley, a after market fan switch customized by myself, and a rebuilt customized vacuum advance unit also made by myself, ...Hummm cool stuff.. A repaired starter using my JB Weld method still working fine, and a half ass paintjob..ha ha  Yeh, I love my 81.. :D

I don't know...I'd like to figure out a REALLY good GPS interface, and have experimented with a few, but nothing that I have really liked yet. I'm almost about out of space for displays and such on the bike though!

You guys are killing me man, you know I want one of those 1500's but darn...I can taste it...Oh Todd, I installed the coils you sent me, I just wrote a long post about my timing in the 1100 section, but I checked the timing with the stock coils and then with the neon coils, I'm glad to say it made no difference in the timing, however,....it's seems to run up the rpm's alot quicker now, Todd the real test is riding it, I will re-assemble my cycle tomorrow and I will give you an update, I may change those wires out to copper core wires though is that cool.. Oh Todd you did a masterful job on the bracket system you came up with, I smiled the whole time installing them...Oh and guy's my timing sight cap is actually better than the oem one because I only have one lense in mine and itgoes down farther to the crank... :D I'm getting really good at this stuff guy's..Todd what year were these coils off of.??? Stay tuned I will report back on this post...Wingman I just bought $1.300 in pullies if I buy that bike my wife will smack me for sure...I can't wait to see how those coils run the bike, Just so you guy's know my cycle was running pretty good before..Oh and that vacuum advance canister I modified is doing hunkydory...Perfect still..

Oh come on Martin,
http://columbusoh.ebayclassifieds.com/m ... UT_OF_AREA
its already white and the milage is low, maybe if you hide the 1100 for a few weeks your wife wont notice its a different bike.Ya thats it............ ;)

That coil pack came off of a 2004 Dodge Neon. The mounting bracket is custom made by myself. You can put what ever wires you want on them, the ones I sent with it are the ones I had on my bike for a year but feel free to do as you wish . It is your bike anyways............

The reason for the coil conversion is that after 30 years most of the original coils have developed cracks in the outer cases, so if you need to replace them it is getting hard to find a good set. As it turns out the Dodge Neon coil pack is a good choice to fit as a replacement, smaller overall size, same resistance , some say a hotter spark and replacements can be had at any autoparts store. It takes standard plug wires (female boots on each end)

Sorry about hijacking the thread, sometimes these things take on a life of their own and go off on a tangent. I will try not to do this again.............. (Bad Todd, Bad)
