Used 2006 Gl1800AC

Postby Nohands » Sun Jul 15, 2012 2:56 am

Got frustrated Saturday afternoon and did something I probably should not have... Bought a 2006 GL1800AC Black w/trailer. A friend of mine works at Nicholson's in Ann Arbor and really worked hard to get me financing so I took the plunge.

For the time being I think I will keep the 1985 Aspy. and work on it throughout the summer as a project and eventually use it as work and putter around town bike.

You'll never ride the 1200 again. That's my experience, anyway. :)

GREAT!! What does the AC stand for, Sorry I'm a little behind on some of the designations.
I’d rather be Riding my Motorcycle thinking about God
Than sitting in church thinking about my Motorcycle

A - Audio

C - Comfort
"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "

I would like to see a Pew Research Poll or a Pier Reviewed paper documenting these claims :D

I understand your statement Admin and in some or even most cases that is probably true. Myself, however, I still ride my 1000 and would never abandon her.

When I still had my 83 Venture Royal I loved that bike when I was solo, (fast nimble ) but V 4 so a higher center of gravaty, When the wife was with me I prefered the 1800 wing, lower and more powerful, They all have there place.
