Great website.
I recently purchased a 1982 GW 1100 Interstate. I stepped up from a Suzuki 650 Savage.
Enjoy the ride and comfort of the Wing. I have had to replace the dogbone, ran Seaform thru the fuel system,
purchased rear tire(lube final drive), changed oil and filter. PO assured me that timing belts were changed at 35K
miles.
One thing I want to do for sure is do is the seat lower procedure. I am 68 years old. My inseam is only 30 inches, so
I barely reach the ground making it difficult to move my wing around. How much foam should be removed from
the seat? I would hate to get to much and lose the comfort of the seat. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

After posting my intro and seat question, I went to the How To Articles and found the rebuild your seat article.
Gained a good deal of useful information from the article, still any hints from someone who has lowered the
contour of their seat would be appreciated.
