Yea zamboni thats my approach slow and low but all the side and front strip lites come with a switch only be running them for show not for go .The three little ones across the back are red and come on with taillites ,no buddy likes a grain truck sneaking up on ya lol.And the three led fog lites on the front come on as driving lites and no lites other than turn signals flash so the popo dont have much to have an issue with(hopefully)(me knocking on wood " " " ")

Looks good. Glad to see you have done some checking about LEO's and lights. Most States have a law about them. Putting them on a switch is a good idea.

Would it be brighter to replace my brake light bulbs with led bulbs and also the tail lights?? when I have brakes on and engine idling the charge indicator turns red.

Whether it's brighter or not depends on the LEDs that you use to replace them. Some are brighter than incandescent, some are not. Generally, the LEDs that cost more are going to be brighter. One thing for sure, it will save you power, and will stop your charge indicator from coming on when your brake lights are used. THAT said, your charge indicator should not be coming on when your brakes are on at idle - that's indicating that there is a problem. What is the condition of your battery?

That's a very good indication that yes, your battery is getting weak.

I'd suggest you invest (all $25) in a Battery Tender Jr. - and leave it connected whenever you're not riding the bike. I used to go through a battery every 1-2 years. Since I started using a Battery Tender Jr. on each battery, I haven't had to replace ANY of them - and some are going five years now.
