was just reading my new haynes repair manual for my 1980 wing and noticed theres three or four places in the book where the word tyres appears,i hope its just a typo or im gonna worry about the guy that wrote the manual,or is that the way amercans really spell tire

It is the correct British way to spell tire.. Americans mis-spell it tire!! :D
