This is kind of a neat tool - enter the VIN of your bike (or car, for that matter) and it will tell you everything it knows about it:

Thanks for posting the link for this great tool. I've been in contact with the Motorcycle Division of American Honda multiple times trying to get information on my '81 Goldwing. I gave them the VIN, but they couldn't find anything on the bike in their computers or their manual listings. The nice gentleman in California suggested that I call Honda in Canada, which I did, again without success. The lady there suggested that I call Honda in Mexico and that's when I gave up. However, when I put the bike's VIN in the VIN Decoder, it came back in under 5 seconds with all kinds of info about the bike. Thanks, again.

It appears the site is now restricted in it's use. I tried to use it and it told me for pronto members only which is limited to those in the auto industery. Anyone know of another site I can get some info on an old wing from the vin number?
