About the same in Louisiana.
I've determined that the 50% chance of rain really means that it will rain on 50% of the area.
They just don't know where :D

If anyone's interested in what the "percentage" means in weather forecasts, it's this: "Historically speaking, In this general geographic location, at this time of year, with the weather conditions that we are currently experiencing, it ended up raining x% of the time."

I dont know about last Friday, seeing it is Tuesday here already, but we are experiencing the final winds of winter. We start our seasons at the beginning of the month rather than three weeks into it to meet up with the solstice. So it is only 10 days to go for the Spring to arrive. Our temps at present are 16.3C (61.3F), so it is bearable - eat your hearts out you Northerners!

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.
