I'm back!!

Postby WingAdmin » Tue Aug 21, 2012 2:28 pm

Three weeks off, I was able to visit here now and then to kill off the spam and answer some direct questions and account problems, but you might have noticed I haven't been around much other than that.

I have just spent two whole days reading through all of the posts (and answering some) from the past three weeks. Whew! It gets longer and more difficult to do that every year - I guess it means the site is getting lots more posts from lots more people, which is a good thing.

My Android phone reads them, too. I have both the service manual and the ETM on my phone with me, just in case I ever need them on the road...

Your doin fine. It seems like all the weird stuff is been fixed on the 1100's.
I'll be glad to help where I can, like why a switched wire only has volts on it when the switch is off.
Hmmmmm.
I have tried a few android tablets before 3.0 and each one was terribly slow or ran out of core memory. This one is 4.1 with 1/2gb spare to load the big pdf's in and still be able to render as fast as my desktop.

Hmmmmm.

I think I found this one.I believe the "test light" being used is a test light for checking fuses...
Thats why it lights on a ground wire and backward on a switched ignition wire.

Oh no, we were there only a few days. We spent some time based at home, some camping, some up in Northern Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron, some in Toronto - we were all over the place.

I need a vacation now due to my vacation! :)

It's getting harder and harder to find the time to keep up. I've got too many projects going on at once, I think some may have to fall by the wayside. Hopefully as winter comes and things slow down I'll find some more time to do new things and come up with new ideas for the site. I've got a couple already that are on the back burner, just waiting to be developed and put online. :)
