Pod carrier for our Furry child.....

Post by bjatwood » Sat Sep 01, 2012 3:10 pm

Here is a couple pics of the carrier that Rudy (ric) sold to us that he designed and made. It is so well made with pre-bent aluminum and grade 8 bolts, with lexan panels that our pup Maizie just Loves it! She is a ESA support animal for my wife that this allows us to ride and take her with us. ;)

Very cool! And awesome that it allows your wife to keep riding. Outstanding

How agout a couple of closer in pictures also. I have a new pup that I have been trying to figure out how to take along when I / we are on two wheels.

Any change in the ride, especially turns? Wondering if you have to lean less to go right, lean more to go left, and lean a bit left just to go straight down the road?

How about wind resistance - do you feel much tugging on one side at highway speed?

That's a very cool solution to solve a problem! Hey, it keeps ya riding! Hopefully the occupant isn't stressed out and is comfortable. Looks comfortable.

Not much difference at all @ Highway speeds, added a little counter balance to the left saddle bag 20lbs, tracks straight and true. Best of all, Mama's happy and so is MaizieBlu, our fur child. LOL Had a nice 67 mile shakedown run on the set up today. Maizie did the dog thing for the first 50 miles (nose into the wind) then settled into a sleeping position.
Found a field of sunflowers for a background shot. Thought I would share.... :D
