Sleeping on twigs and stones

Post by tom84std » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:47 pm

I'll be attending to the preflight checklist (I'm ex-air force) on the morrow early. Ten hours of riding and I'll meet my good friend just outside Trinidad Colorado around 4:00pm tomorrow afternoon. He'll be picking the camping spot and bringing the coffee pot. I'll bring the coffee and the tent. I told him to get on his hands and knees and thoroughly examine the tent site this time. Last year we rode to Davenport Iowa to the big rally there. Had a wonderful time, but I was miserable all night trying to sleep on baseballs. You guys take care, see y'all in a week and a half or so.

Enjoy the trip! Nothing worse than sleeping on hard, unmovable objects...I think that's one of the main things that led me to buy the trailer this year!
