I wanted some air deflectors for my 81 didnt want the price so I fabricated some and engraved them to personalize them a bit.whata think?

Nice! What did you use for material?
Did you etch the design or rotary cut with a Dremel type tool?

Pretty nice job there engraving. I've never got the hang of it. I have an engraver but no skills to do stuff like that. Looks good.

Theyre cut from plexiglass then edges dressed with flapper disk on grinder then design is engraved with a dremel and a bit I actually made myself the deflectors work really good made mounting hardware from some half inch flat stock from metal shop.Thanks for the compliments guys.

Now you could get you some craft paint and a brush and fill in the engravings with colors. That would make them stand out for sure.

Where are these mounted at? It looks like the side of the fairing, but I am not sure with the pictures being on the side.

Yea there mounted to the lower and middle sections of the fairing have yet to make the upper ones .Thanks for the paint idea however like the engraved look rather more than the color .
