$300 for a used seat, Really?

Postby Possum51 » Thu Sep 06, 2012 3:05 am

This guy must thing he's really got something here, $300 for a stock GL1200 seat, Really?! I can get my seat and the passenger's back rest redone for $150.00
I know its hard to find one that doesn't have a least a small tare, but $300 just seems way to high to me.

I guess it all depends on what you want and how much you have to spend.

He has lots of stuff for sale, and his prices are way up there on everything. 1976 Cycle World magazines - $15.00 each. Some others for $25. Lots like that. Either he is making lots of money or he is blowing smoke and selling nothing. I hope the later.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

I changed out the final on my VTX 1800 with a polished 1300 unit for like three hundred bucks. It has a better final gearing.
