DIFFERENCES BETWEEN 1000/1100

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME IF THE STATOR COVER IS THE SAME FROM 1000 TO 1100(NEED BOLT FROM CENTER OF ALT. ROTOR,HAVE A PARTS BIKE,A 1000,BUT NOT SURE IF PARTS ARE THE SAME)

Ooh, boy. I'd like to know this one, too. Where I thought most of it would be direct interchange, I stand corrected by my experiences thus far. What we need is a list of changes between the models stickied in the 1000 and 1100 forums.

Whenever I need to know this type of thing, I'll go to the Cyclemax OEM parts page, look up the parts for each bike, and add them to my shopping cart. If the Honda part numbers match, then I know they're the same. If they don't match...well, it means that they aren't the same part, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they won't fit. At that point you have to do a bit more research, perhaps by asking others on a site like this. :)
