SMH10 = Brilliant communication solution for phones use, between bike use, etc. Now i hear there is a Goldwing SM10 radio and navi audio device. Anyone used it?

I have not used it, and I don't think it is Wing specific, but here is a link to the Sena SM 10 page. Looks very capable.

Boy, I sure do love the edit function here. I just looked further in, on the Sena website for the SM 10. Under the accessories tab, there is a Goldwing specific cable, at this link.

I need someone to come to my house and using one sylable words and short sentences, explain this crap to me. I feel like an old dog trying to learn new tricks and it ain't working very well.

It got down into the 50's the other night and it made me grumpy. I'll be OK next Memorial Day.

The SMH10 will use bluetooth to connect to your bluetooth devices such as cellphones. The SM10 has hardwire connections for the different audio systems (bike, mp3, GPS) and converts them to bluetooth signals so that the headphones can hear them. There is also an accessory connector that will connect the 5-pin onboard Goldwing audio to the SM10 so that you can use the onboard systems. Unfortunately, it does not specifically mention in the documentation if you can use it normally for the CB radio. Someone who has it will have to pipe in and let us know.

You have to keep in mind that that product is one-way. You can hear the devices, but you can't talk into the Goldwing's audio system. So you can't utilize the Goldwing's intercom, or transmit on the CB (although you would be able to hear the CB). If both parties have Bluetooth headsets, you could use the intercom functionality of them to talk back and forth, but that is not utilizing the Goldwing's intercom system.
