Wiring Harness for 2003 1800 Goldwing

Postby purplerhody » Thu Oct 11, 2012 8:51 pm

I recently bought a 2003 wing and simultaneously found that Kennedy Electronics has ceased making motorcycle wiring harnesses to integrate a GPS, IPOD and some other device with an audio signal such as a radar unit. I previously installed one of their harnesses on my 2001 wing and it worked very well...all devices were powered through the bike and all of the audio signals were routed through the intercom circuit. I could set it up so that alert devices like GPS or radar could override music and the music would resume automatically when the alert was finished.
Kennedy is no longer in this business and none of the wiring harnesses I have seen to date seem to deal with both power and audio integration. Does anyone know of any products out there that do this...I do not need or want bluetooth...I just need to have the audio routed into my speakers in the helmet through the cable that connects the bike to the helmet.
thanks
