Here's a wreck on the Dragon that should remind you to always pay attention to the task at hand.

Oh man the guy in the vette was just minding his own gosh darn business, sometimes a wave a or a pretty girl can be distracting, yep watch out for stuff like that....Hey, I hope he didn't get run over from the vehicle behind the vette...Looked like he might have gotten a brush or two on his butt...Poor guy...16K at least for that Harley...

It can happen to us perfect Goldwing folks as well. I hate to admit it, but I found myself happy to be riding down a sidewalk (best choice I had available) at 30 m.p.h. last month. This was the result of a pretty girl...it was all her fault... :o . Lucky no one was injured and no damage to the Wing. I scared the you know what out of myself....

ps. she was very cute.

I do believe that the Dragon has a lot of curves or turns, What was he thinking, maybe she had a bikini on  or something...

Rider was too busy waving at the camera to prepare for the curve. He got into it too late. Then when he put the bike back upright he should have been standing on the brakes. Doesn't look like he was. He seemed to be fixated on the Corvette. He certainly has a good photo log though.

That's a classic cornering mistake. He obviously went in fast, but he had plenty of lean left. Had he just pushed right and kept in it, from what I can see, he probably would have made it. Instead, he panicked and straightened up, which is an untrained/rookie response to carrying too much speed into a corner. Once he did that, he fixated on the Corvette, and as any trainer will tell you, whatever you look at is where you will go. He didn't get on the brakes fast enough, he didn't attempt to swerve, he just stared right at that Corvette and as a result went straight into it.
