Panoramic Road

Postby pepepeririri » Thu Nov 01, 2012 6:48 pm

Why not create a section were it could be possible to describe panoramic road all over Canada and USA ?

I am sure that would be a great and interesting subject.

If you are going to that trouble, why not include other places where we have correspondents, such as Poland, Italy, UK, NZ, Korea, and other places that may be of interest to others. For example, seeing that Oz is about the same size as the USA's 48 contiguous States, I am sure I can point out a couple of different rides.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

I've got just such an idea in mind, I'm working out the easiest way to have people explain their rides, yet have it searchable and usable.

Sounds great. What I like is during the winter when I'm not riding,is to come on here and watch a video.
Our Wing-ADM did that way back when, and was nice to see a video of some one riding on a cold day here.
Temp here to day is up to 43 F on the shore of lake Michigan.

That indeed looks like a rideable road - State road 145 by the sign, would that be correct? Where did you have the camera mounted, if you don't mind telling?

Thanks for the ride.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

I don't remember where it was, to tell you the truth. Somewhere in middle Ohio. :)

The camera (it's tiny, about the size of a car keychain remote) is velcroed to the top of my windshield vent, on the inside of the windshield.

Here on the left coast, we have the following:

http://www.pashnit.com/motoroads.htm

Pronounced "passionite" the site includes a huge section on the good riding roads by region in California and the surrounding areas. Access to the road tour section is at a cost, but very good information.
