We got about 4" of snow here yesterday. It's early this year. Warming trend expected for next week. Riding season is definitely over.

My sister in law just moved up to near Edmonton a few months ago, from Kentucky. All we've been hearing about since is complaints about cold temperatures, grey skies and freezing rain - now snow. :)

A very pleasant day here. At 10am it is 20C (about 69F), been for a short ride and it is really refreshing. With all that white stuff, they must pay you extra to live there? Dont get too jealous with your GW locked up for the winter, while we are enjoying the warmth.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

I have an idea, sell the wing and get one of those Cam-Am Spyder things. Then you could take off the front wheels and maybe attach skies or something. Then maybe add a track to the back, then we could drive in the white stuff. Oh man I'm a genius.I'm going to be rich. I can't wait to try it! LOL. Love the white stuff.

I have not seen any salt trucks laying it down yet, so there is still hope for another ride day. I got one ten days ago when it hit 22C here (just over 70F) and I really took advantage. I rode around one of our local lakes - about 310 Kms (almost 200 miles) soooo hope reigns eternal, till the salt comes out,
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Woke up this am to the dreaded white stuff. Looks like no real accumulation coming, but it's the principle of the thing. :(

We might get snow here.....if the temps ever drop below 80 degrees.

Well, if the weather holds here and all along I10 to Calif. I hope to make one more trip before the end of the year. Had to postpone my trip to Utah last month due to medical issues, but hope to get clearance from my Doc this month to git back on the bike.
Was mid 80's yesterday and looks good for next couple weeks anyway. I still have not figured out why Anyone would want to live in snow country for any reason. You can always go visit snow, don't have to work and drive in it all winter or stay stuck snowed in for maybe weeks at a time.

Well no snow here yet, and it's supposed to be 34 degrees and dry tomorrow, so I'm going to be riding into work in the morning, for the first time in almost two weeks!

Looked out the window this morning, and saw my first snow flakes :o :o
It didn't last long as I see the temps at 37 F now. Then I looked out to the back yard and saw I left out 1/4 bag
of cement.I was reparing the back fence the past few days.I put away all the tools, but left out the gravel and that cement bag  I guess I thought it was not going to rain or snow. That bag sure doesn't need moisture.
Better get my butt out there and put those bags away.
